Weekend Happenings.

We had a fun but busy weekend.
We worked hard.
And ate yummy pancakes made by firemen!

Saturday morning was packed full of work but we started the morning out right
supporting a Foster Care Fundraising pancake breakfast
at a local fire department.

Little Miss wanted to pet the 'doggy' but by the end of the morning
she was at least calling the horses 'neighs' so we were good!

It was so fun. And so nice connecting with other foster parents.
Thank you to all the firemen that cooked us the best bacon, eggs + pancakes.
It was the perfect fuel for a busy day.

Our 'bigs' {kids that is} piled in grandma and grandpa's
car with the cousins and headed to the movies
to check out our new movie theater.
They had a blast and made some fun memories.

We found heaven on Sunday when we went into the Relief Society room
during sacrament meeting.

We turned on the speaker to the Chapel and let Little Miss run all around
and Little Mister scoot and play on the floor all while listening
to our Sacrament service as a family instead of one or both of us
walking the halls with the babies. It was pure heaven.

If you think we've gone inactive...come find us in our secret hiding place!

Our Veteran....circa 1999. Homecoming pic from a TDY.
Kaia was 2 1/2 years old in this picture and we got her ears pierced
while daddy was gone. His eyes might be red from tears of joy.
But I'm NOT saying he cried!
We spent more time apart our first four years of being married
than we were together. Tough but worthwhile times.

Dave and I had some fun this weekend looking through old photos.
Lots of laugh out loud moments and fun memories visited!

And Sunday night ended with some Taylor Swift Storytellers.

Little Miss was glued to the TV during the whole show
dancing on her knees and bobbing her head.
Both babies love music so much and are so cute dancing!

We spent the rest of the weekend creating fun items for our handmade/vintage booths
that will be at The Queen Bee Market down south
this coming Friday + Saturday at The Sheraton Carlsbad!

Come visit us. We are giving all kinds of sneak peeks on
our instagram accounts of what we will be selling
but will post a few here too for those of you that don't do instagram!

  1. What a fun family weekend! I'm sure I've said this before but I so so wish I lived anywhere close and could come to your QBM. Good luck with it!

I heart comments! Just one rule that I'm sure your momma taught you...if you don't have anything nice to say...please don't say anything at all!
