Outdoor Booth Set-Up!
I still used the doors for my walls and just added a tent above.
It was perfect for the high winds and rainy afternoon.

Now that my markets are over, at least until July/August, I can share new products with you and get them listed for sale. Yippee! I'm super excited about the Blooming Bookmarks {which were a huge hit for Mother's Day and are a great idea for teachers gifts}, Purse Hooks to keep your cute purse off the dirty floor at restaurants and bars, 'Serve With Love' Burlap Wall Art and new FVL Pillows....all making their debut in the shop hopefully later today! As well as new styles in Blooming Stud Earrings and Statement Blossom Rings.
About the Home & Garden Show....I will say that it was different than a craft fair. So many times I watched a husband and wife walk by. The wife spotted the booth, slowed, smiled, went to grab hubby's arm only to find him still walking at original pace ahead of her. She frowned and kept walking to catch up to hubby. A few would find their way back. One sweet couple was the opposite though. The wife wasn't sure if a pillow would match. The husband was sure of it. Promised her and purchased it. So sweet.
I had so much fun meeting locals and introducing them to Funky Vintage Lovely. {Hello if you are a new reader here!} Lots of people asked if I had a store front. I wish! At one point I honestly thought I'd never do a Home & Garden Show again because the weather was horrible, but Dave and I are already planning for next year....and I'm hoping I can afford an inside booth closer to Dave's booth (ClearView Retractable Screens) so we can hang out together the whole weekend. Being a one woman show for three days straight was difficult. I was often hungry and had to pee. Next time I will have full-time help there and more handmade outdoor accessories. But all in all, it was a successful weekend and a few more of our large recycled chalkboards sold so that was exciting!
I will announce on Twitter and Facebook when I have loaded all the new goodies in the shop! Oh and for you blog readers only I will add a little blurb here too at the top of this post. Have a happy day. Have I told you lately that all of you make me happy? Well...you do. You leave the sweetest comments and send me the sweetest emails that just make me smile. Thank you!
