In the Kitchen with the Kennedys! {Apple Snicker Salad}

{uughh. so frustrating...press pause to let it load then it won't be choppy}

We've dubbed it..."The Headless Chef!" Dave was behind the camera.
It was our first. I promise to not be headless next time.
I pomise hair done and not to be in workout clothes!
I'll make it more Food Network worthy.

Here is the recipe....
4-5 large granny smith apples - chopped
8 Snickers Bars - frozen or refridgerated - chopped
{do not skimp on the snickers...I promise you will still want more in there even after adding 8!}
8oz of cool whip - thawed
8 oz cream cheese - softened
1/2 cup brown sugar

And, seriously, this dessert salad is best eaten up the same day it is made.
It gets kind of watery and soggy on day two.
But that didn't keep me from eating it for lunch today!

{thanks to my friend Amanda for her recipe}

    This salad looks delish. If I did not have a daughter allergic to nuts...I would TOTALLY make this!

  3. Yummy! Our version has a can of crushed pineapple, minus the brown sugar and cream cheese. I think this one sounds even better...and SO good for you! :) Can't wait to try.

I heart comments! Just one rule that I'm sure your momma taught you...if you don't have anything nice to say...please don't say anything at all!
