......a two-bedroom suite upgrade at the Aria, mango-passion fruit sorbet from a little pink cafe, a little lunch while sitting at the pool, VIP lounge at the hotel, sight-seeing through the Casinos, gnocchi with mushroom demi-glaze, Donny + Marie Show, late night berry crepes, late night giggles, comped Spa access, relaxing in the salt room, relaxing in the hot stone beds room, sauna, steam room, followed by the cold plunge pool {double brrrr....but amazing}, sitting outside on the terrace spa lap pool, chocolate croissants at the VIP lounge, lunch at Wolfgang Puck's Postrio, shopping, crepes again but this time Bananas Fosters crepe, hanging out at the airport awaiting details of our delayed flight and the precious opportunity of helping a new mom at the airport who was flying alone with her 3 month old beautiful baby girl who wouldn't stop crying and who finally fell asleep in my arms within a few minutes.
Mix all that in with fun, fabulous girlfriends and you can imagine the great time we had. Oh...did I mention we did all of that in just a two-day, one night trip?! Yup....and it didn't even feel rushed. It was perfect.....well the weather wasn't exactly as cooperative as we had wished (very very windy and not as much sunshine as we were hoping for), but a great time was enjoyed by all. Pictures coming soon, as soon as I can steal them from my friends. I don't have a small camera for vacations.
Now, I need to get my kids off to school. Late. I missed them this morning and had little presents I wanted to give them so we had a slow morning. OK....who am I kidding. I was tired, my kids had stayed up too late last night with daddy and it was just a lazy morning. I was excited to kiss them though and give them their little gifts and now I am just as excited to be driving their little bottoms to school!
That just sounds exhausting! on another note....can you believe i have blogged 2 days in a row! and my daily layout starts later today or tomorrow, I even have it typed up and in my drafts...shocker I know!
