WHAT WE DID THIS WEEKEND....

...took our master bathroom from drab...

....to fab!

A little silvery blue paint (Restoration Hardware's Silver Sage) on the walls was just enough of an update to keep this wife happy and it didn't cost us a dime.
The paint was left over from Kaia's room!

The boys spent Friday night playing with a new lego set Blake got for Christmas!

Saturday morning found those same boys helping out the Boy Scouts
with their annual fundraiser....Christmas Tree Pick-Up!

We went to the dumps as a family.
We had 1000 pounds of Christmas Trees!

Future Boy Scout of America!

And finally this weekend, I purchased, for the first time in a long time, fresh flowers for our kitchen table. They warm my heart during this very very cold winter spell we are experiencing in Northern California.

More on the very sweet, very old, flour and sugar shakers in the picture here!

  2. Libby, that color is Restoration Hardware's 'Silver Sage'. It is the perfect color blue in our home, although when matched at the paint store looks more green than blue. But we have this color in our office, Kaia's room and now in our master bathroom and it is the perfect silver blue! Good luck!

  4. That's my girl. Way to update and redecorate on a budget. It turned out beautiful. We have a Restoration Hardware in Spokane, about 2 hours away.

  6. That is a very productive weekend indeed. :) Blake looks very proud of himself. Could you come get my tree? It's still buried in snow in our backyard. I'm afraid we'll wait too long that no place will take it.

  8. Oooh, I love that color! And, the house we're moving to has pretty much that same bathroom. I'll have to keep this post in mind! I'm so sad, I bought a mirror exactly like that with a 1/2 off coupon from Cost Plus and now have to leave it at our old house :( It looks great!

I heart comments! Just one rule that I'm sure your momma taught you...if you don't have anything nice to say...please don't say anything at all!
