She went with black and green rubberbands to match her competition leotard for State Championships in gymnastics coming up in December. She is excited to also try purple rubberbands, black and pink ones, blue ones....well all of them she says! She will have two years to try on different colors. Right now she is in pain. On Motrin, but still moaning. I remember that pain all too well. Never fun.
I have made her homemade chicken noodle soup. I hope it helps!
she looks so cute! I loved getting all those colored rubberbands! It's a right of passage I think....hope the pain goes away soon!
ReplyDeleteOh I remember the pain well... we went on holiday to Morocco a day after me getting my train tracks put on and I hardly ate a thing!! It's so worth it though for beautiful teeth :)

Sooooo cute, my son went w/ blue to match his high school last week. I thought she looked an awful lot like you but up close I see Dave as well.
ReplyDeleteher teeth look perfect already :) really 2 years?? what are they trying to fix? I think she looks lovely, train tracks and all.
ReplyDeletei am SO jealous! when i got my braces (back in the late 70s) they still used the ones that went around the entire tooth with the track soldered on....SOOO UGLY! kaia's are cute!!!!
ReplyDeleteKaia's teeth look so straight already why the braces? But she does look very cute. Black and Green were one of my favorites. I got those colors a lot. Sorry about the pain, no fun at all. Headgear is the worst. Hopefully you won't have to go there! I can't even tell you how thankful I am for braces, rubber bands, and headgear. I don't think I would be married today if I wouldn't of gotten them to fix my mess! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the homemade chicken noodle soup did wonders!
ReplyDeleteKaia, papaya! You look great! See if Tylenol works better for this than Motrin. See you Monday. Zoe left her own "train tracks" by the pool table. Love her anyway.
ReplyDeleteLove, Grandma xoxo
I'm with Rachel....her teeth look great already! Up close and all. I'm sure whatever they're fixing she'll appreciate in the end. :) Have fun with the appointments!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cuite pie!!
ReplyDeletePraying that pain away real soon!!
She is still BEAUTIFUL!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't remember if I had already commented on this one, so I cam back to check! LOL! Glad I did!
ReplyDeleteShe looks great, I wish I looked that pretty when I had braces!
