THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE OF HOW WHACKED OUT MY MIND HAS BEEN.
Shopping in Target the other day in the Halloween section, mind you, I picked up some bloodshot eye patches that look like eyeballs and actually thought (until just this minute) that that I was preparing these for a Valentine to hand out. "I only have eyes for you." Now this WOULD be a cute valentine if Valentine's Day was on Halloween, but it isn't and I don't know why I was so confused in my head about it. And I can't save them for Valentine's Day because they are too scary looking. And I don't think Blake's classmates are going to want Halloween valentine cards handed to them that say he only has eyes for them. Yeah...that might confuse them. Think of how confused I have been for the past 2 days. I couldn't figure out why it all wasn't sounding or feeling right. Until just about 3 minutes ago. Gosh darn it....I thought I had a great Valentine Card too for October. Now they will just go in their candy bag as a 'trick'!
It's OK....you can laugh out loud. I'm still sitting here confused how I messed that one up.

ReplyDeleteI've soooooooooooooooooo been there....and not knowing why you feel "weird" about what you're saying or thinking is the worst. It's like...you KNOW you probably just looked like or sounded like a fool, or at the very least THOUGHT like a fool...but you don't quite know why.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, I think you could send halloweenie cards out with those in them and make it a valentiney kind of halloweenie. That's just me though. I'd totally get what you were trying to tell me.
