Gained 2 pounds during vacation and it was WORTH EVERY BITE and every morning of non-exercise! I did get up early one morning and ran down to the beach to catch Dave surfing, up and down the stairs and then back up the steep hill to the house we were renting. Dave wasn't expecting me to make the hill so he drove extra slow back up the hill in case I wanted a ride. Guess what? I beat him home!

Anyway, back to the grind on Monday to lose those 2 pounds plus hopefully a few more inches. Can't wait to hear how every ones been doing while I was gone.

  1. I must admit I've been doing a pretty crappy job this whole month with exercising regularly and eating good. This week I've exercised 3 times, which is better than I've done the past 2 weeks. Vacations and house guests have thrown me off, but I'm determined to get back on track next week!

  2. Since we decided to attempt this 1/2 marathon training (and take it one week at a time to decide if we'll continue it)....I've forced myself to get up and run in the mornings. I am NOT a morning runner, so it sucks. But I have to admit this week did feel better, and easier. And we completed a five mile run today! I haven't done that in five years. :) Good luck with those two pounds this week!
