I'm not sure where I am going to come in on weight this week. I have fluctuated up and down by 2 lbs all week. I was feeling a little defeated at one point so I decided to measure and compare from when I started 2 weeks ago. I have LOST 2" at my natural waist and 1" at my muffin top, 1" at my hips and almost 1/2" each on my thighs. That kept me going. Just the motivation I needed. I am doing strength training with these three 10 minute workouts each day so I have to remember that while I am losing weight, I am also building muscle. I only missed 1 workout this week and that was because I was cuddling with Blake yesterday on his birthday. Today I will kick my own butt even harder and I am definitely planning a hard workout tomorrow too since I will be eating a little bit less cautiously due to the holiday! Hope this week was a success for you too. Can't wait to see your stats! I'll post my weight after this workout and shower.
I have exercised twice this week. I did pilates once and lifted weights once also. My eating wasn't so great. Especially last night, since we ate out at Cheesecake Factory for our anniversary. So worth it though! Sounds like you're doing an amazing job!
ReplyDeleteI meant to say exercised everyday and done weight training stuff twice!
ReplyDeleteWell, the second week was definitely more difficult than the first, but I did manage to lose another 1.6 pounds for a total of 4.4. This week I concentrated on "The 5 Principle." 5 servings of fruit and/or veggies everyday. I even opted for fruit when I had a sugar craving...and there are soooo many good fruits to chose from right now. ***One qualifying statement: I DID have a cupcake and 1/2 cup of icecream on Mack's birthday (and guess what??? Eating a decent portion of dessert didn't blow my weight loss. Who knew I could eat a "decent portion" of dessert?) - Connie
ReplyDeleteSo this morning I am UP 1 lb. But I am going to celebrate my 5 inches lost and know that probably tomorrow I will be down a pound or so. Great job so far everyone!
ReplyDeleteAnd, Connie, yes you can have a little dessert once in awhile and not blow everything. That is very exciting and usually helps me decide how to spend my calories each day!
Forgot Dave's stats! He lost another 4 lbs....not working out, just watching what he is eating. He wants to see 229 this next week, I told him he needs to start exercising and it will probably happen. He is weighing in now at 234 lbs. Way to go hubs!
ReplyDeleteSo proud of you guys!! Good job!!
ReplyDeleteThis is mom and dad checking in. I can't believe I saw the number 164 this morning. OK, it was 164.9, but I'll take it 'cause it's down 2 lbs from where I started. I'm OK with 1 pound a week. I know I need to add exercise and it would be more, but I'm not in the exercise mode yet. Mike lost another 2 lbs this week. He says his exercise is running around the shop all day. I say NOT! We are definitely eating better/less. Good week!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you guys are doing GREAT. :) They always say measure your effort in inches as opposed to pounds for a real statistic, and it sounds like it's all paying off. I, on the other hand, had my REAR END captured on camera while running my cross country reunion run and I had only this to say to my best friend: I still have baby bootie. It's really amazing what you SEE when you capture it working out.....wow. :) Happy Monday! Keep it up.
ReplyDeleteHave to say that when I saw you yesterday you were lookin' great! But I thought you already were.
