....while I find what I like without my trusty graphic designer available. She is on maternity leave for two years. I didn't know it would be this hard without her. She creates exactly what is in my head. I have tried a few pre-made designs these last few days and they just don't cut it for me. I had previously purchased this header from her (Banners by Lyndsay, actually my first one....that I hadn't used yet) and I love it. It is completely me.....as are they all that she has designed for me. I'm just having problem with my background. I can't find anything I like to go with it. So just fair warning....I might be changing it up over and over and over again for the next two years.....ugh. I told Lyndsay I would be her first client when she got back into the swing of things again. I don't think she understands that I really WILL be her first in line!
Totally understand... it's a very personal thing! There's a designer I love but I've never tried her blog kits. I usually use her stuff for scrapping. You might like it too. Here's the link: http://www.theshabbyshoppe.com/scripts/prodList.asp?idCategory=41
ReplyDeleteI think it looks great. Loved it yesterday too :D
ReplyDeleteMaybe you could do a poll to see which one people like the most. That could be fun, except if you didn't like the one everyone else liked. I like you changing it up too.
ReplyDeleteI think your blog looks great!
ReplyDeleteI am ADD with my backgrounds - I change them up all the time so I use lots of pre-mades - I'm too cheap to pay someone and not good enough on the computer to design my own.
Blog backgrounds are very personal though and I know how you feel when you have one that doesn't quite fit what you want :D
I just found this site yesterday http://www.shabbyblogs.com/ and think their stuff rocks and dang can't beat the price ;). Talk about butterflies! I'm even thinking of starting a blogger account and with all the options would probably be changing it up all the time!
ReplyDeleteAnyway hope you like.
