Funky Vintage Kitchen received a request for His & Her aprons for a bridal shower! His: BBQ. Hers: Full Kitchen Apron. His: Stripes. Hers: Polka Dots. They are almost finished. Completely coordinated in fabric colors. Poor Dave got so tired of me using him for measurements and try-ons last night. Especially since he was getting our new water heater installed and it was 9:30 pm. He was a good sport though. So was my dad. I tried it on him a few times too.
Pictures to come later today. I promise! And, thanks Dad & Dave for working so late last night, after working such long hours yesterday. My shower felt great this morning. Nice and HOT!
i forgot to email you and tell you how much my sisters and mom LOVED LOVED LOVED the aprons i gave them for mother's day. and, of course, i didn't have my camera with me so i didn't get a picture of the four of us in them!!! AURGH! but we LOVE them! thanks again!
ReplyDeleteDad told me that he helped Dave put in the water heater...but he never mentioned that he was also a model! After 40 years, he's now keeping secrets from me :o) And thank you April for taking such good care of your brother yesterday.
ReplyDeleteLove, Mom
I am always amazed that women have stories like this....where the men in their lives fix things. LOL I love Hubs, but I'm not sure he'd feel up to doing THIS. And I can't wait to see the aprons. :)
ReplyDeletewhen will you have some aprons in your store.. I keep waiting for some to stock.. LMK
