Cooking Breakfast Hash!
(Isn't the cook hot!)
Roast beef hash, crispy bacon and eggs have become a camping tradition for us. The bacon especially. It is something we very very rarely cook in our home. When camping we eat a whole package at one sitting! Here is the step by step for the breakfast hash....because once you see it.....you will want some! (just close your eyes when you open the canned beef....at least I have to....but that is the easiest way to make it while camping.)

Cook one package of frozen or thawed hash browns in skillet until starting to brown.

Add one small can of mild diced chilis, salt & pepper and mix and cook a little more.

Add can of roast beef and continue cooking over medium heat while mixing into hash browns.

Everything mixed well.

Add 1 cup shredded cheese while cooking over medium heat.

Once melted.......SERVE!

Here's what the ingredients look like!
YUM! YUM! YUM!
I've eaten most of the left overs. It is even better the next day warmed up!

oh that does look so good.....camping is ALWAYS loads of fun...and always creates tons of stories to be retold later....
ReplyDeleteI think it's funny that you mention your entire family eats one package. I am fairly certain I can (and have) finished a pound myself. LOL Happy camping.
