But aren't we all super? Yes, we are. Don't knock me for being raised with good self-esteem please. My parents did a really good job raising me to like me just the way I am....although I do have issues with a few body parts....who doesn't? Lyndsay over at Lyndsay and the Johnsons has been doing a SuperMom series. It has been fun and educational! She posted buttons for us to grab to put on our sidebar to say we are Super...and each one of you deserve one too! Go get yours and let me know what one you picked or if you don't blog, what one you would pick if you had a blog! Also, if you have great self-esteem {or really just feel like bragging} let me know what you think you are super at. We all have something that we are super at and it is important to pat our own backs once in awhile. Or better yet, I'll come on over and pat your back for you! C'mon now, don't be shy.

April-you are definitely worthy of a Super Mom Button. Are you gonna guest post for her? You should.
ReplyDeleteWell, I like to think I'm super teachable--always willing to admit what I should be doing better; )
I am , of course a super cooking mama! I picked the 'lazy' button... so fun!
ReplyDeleteWell the other day I realized that I was supposed to be somewhere across town (in a classroom) 7 minutes before I had to be there. I ate lunch, drove across town, parked, ran from the parking lot to the school (why do they always make those 2 things so far away??) signed in at the office, found out which teacher I was subbing for, found his classroom and got to it at the moment I was supposed to. I felt pretty super about that, I'll tell ya. (There may have been a *little* speeding involved)
ReplyDeleteI took the I dreamed my whole house was clean button because my friend has had it on her fridge for years and I have always loved it. And it is so appropriate for me.
Thanks for the super buttons :)

Hi April,
ReplyDeleteI hope you don't mind me commenting here. I saw your comment on Lyndsay's blog and hopped over here. I read back into your blog and am amazed at how similar our lives are- hope you don't think I'm a stalker.
I just think moms of special needs kids have an automatic connection. From one special needs mama to another- I know you are a super mom without even knowing you. ;)
I'd love to hear from you- you can check out my personal blog or my 30days blog anytime.
I'm super...at just being super....(cause I can't think of anything specific)
ReplyDeletep.s. I love your new signature on your blogs!
ReplyDeleteLove it! And I believe that we all have to remind ourselves that we are super at times :-)
ReplyDeleteI am a super mom to special chldren and SUPER with creating, espcially with my sewing machine!
I'm super at organizing. Also at calming down my very over-emotional 5 year old boy. Hmm, also at coming back and apologizing for my own wrong doings. Too bad I'm not super at not wrong doing in the first place! :) Thanks for helping me realize that I'm pretty darn super!
