I feel the same way sometimes. I know that if I would do something I would feel better and not feel as overwhelmed but since I can't do everything I do nothing. It doesn't make any sense but it happens all the time.
Oh my gosh...I am sitting here freaking out at how much I have to do too. I just got a call to pick up another office for work and couldn't say no but am thinking how in the heck am I going to get one more thing done during the day. I already get up at 4:30 a.m and don't go to bed until 10:00 p.m. and still don't have time for myself...UGH...So I sit here and stalk blogs instead of work...I would come sit on your porch with you! It will get better. Doesn't help it is a gloomy day and we have been so used to sunny days. Hope you have a good weekend.
Omigosh, I so relate! Especially right now. I have so much to do that it is actually quite paralyzing so I turn to the computer to distract myself from the horror of trying to do it all! I should learn that in the end I'm going to have to do it anyway and it will be all frantic and awful but I never do. Yours in ack-paralysis, k
The only thing I can differ with you on this one is: I may go sit on the porch anyway, it is covered, so I can swing and not get wet. I just need a blanket and the last cup of Williams-Sonoma hot chocolate that my friend gave me for Christmas!
Ingrid, if we lived closer I would join you on the swing and share my hot chocolate with you. Another thing we have in common, I have one full tin of the Williams-Sonoma hot chocolate shavings left! It's my last one. I look forward to it every Christmas season in their store and buy 2 - 3 tins as soon as they go on sale!
Love this post. I feel like this every day when I get home from work and have every intention of mopping my floor or going to the gym after getting my little guy to bed, but sit and blog instead... Oh well. :)
