WISHING YOU A MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS!

It is technically Christmas Eve. Merry Christmas Eve! I have completed most of my wrapping {not at 12:50 am Christmas morning} which was my goal this year! I must say....I am happy with the results this year. I went with homemade bows, yarn pom poms and rick rack/ribbon instead of store bought bows and the gifts look lovely. Here's a peek!

I do still have a few more projects to complete tomorrow which will end up in a few more presents to wrap but hey....that's a huge improvement from years past. And, I do still need to go to the grocery store and make peanut butter balls for friends and family. The latter might not get done....but it is my intention!

I enjoy the Christmas season so much. I love the thought of giving. I love thoughtful giving and I love watching those receiving. It brings such joy. This is a wonderful time of the year to remind those we love just how much we really do love them and appreciate them. This season also reminds me of my Savior, Jesus Christ, and how he never leaves my side. He is on my side and for that reason, this season is merry and bright!

I hope your Christmas is merry and bright also. I know I will be enjoying the next few days with my family....enjoying their love and our time together. Merry Christmas!

P.S. I thought I would include a picture of the apron I made for Blake's kindergarten teacher. It was so fun watching her open it and just loving the "nursery rhyme" theme of the fabric. She wears an apron every day in the classroom and all her aprons have clear plastic pockets on them for the letter of the day...so I added one also to the apron I made and she was just thrilled!

  5. Your presents look great. I took your advice from an earlier post and tried to get all of my presents wrapped before Christmas eve. I am looking forward to enjoying a less stressed evening!

I also love your apron for the teacher. Very thoughtful gift.

  6. Nice aprons...nice wrapping. Merry Christmas!. ours will be different, but that's ok. We will be with the other missionaries and that should help Reenie not to think about her non baking, non decorating, non gift wrapping and non-22 person Christmas dinner. She is a trooper!
Miss you guys-Hope Christmas is special for you and yours.

I heart comments! Just one rule that I'm sure your momma taught you...if you don't have anything nice to say...please don't say anything at all!
