We were reminded last night of this old commercial.....take a look...
We had just sat down at a table at one of our favorite Italian restaurants for their "Family Feast" for $19. We ordered our drinks and our waitress left. While we were ordering our drinks, a man and a woman walked in and sat down at the table kitty-corner to us {right in Dave's line of sight}. The man got up instantly and left the table to go to the restroom. He had no sooner walked away when out of the corner of my eye I think I see the woman "raise" her right butt cheek up. What followed next sent us all into a roar. The loudest longest fart. I looked at Dave and asked if that woman just raised her butt cheek and farted. He was trying not to laugh, but was shaking his head 'yes'. Not only was our family having a hard time keeping it together, but another family that was facing Dave at the table behind me was equally having a hard time staying composed. Dave excused himself from the table while holding in a belly laugh. I made three loud ha, ha, ha's and recomposed myself quickly. I was half grossed out.
The woman never even looked around, nor did she act embarrassed. I wondered if she just merely "forgot" where she was. She deliberately raised her cheek and pushed that sucker out. If only I had my video camera....I would totally have a banned tv commercial too! Our family is STILL talking about it. Now go watch that video again....because it is funny and it is exactly what we experienced last night!
Oh, gosh. I am laughing sooooo freakin' hard. HILARIOUS! I just can't imagine doing that myself... though I could totally see my husband doing it.

oh good god....that is the funniest thing I've heard in a long time....you were good though...my husband would't have probably been so discreet and would have given in to his fit of giggles...thank you for sharing...

I remember that commercial. We used to play it all the time because we thought it was so funny. I can't believe that lady. Wow! I don't know what I would have done. That is way funny.

ReplyDeleteOH MY GOSH....I didn't even know my mother-in-law new where Napa, CA was??? That is hysterical and disgusting at the same time. She would totally do something like that and I would find NO humor in it at all!!!
