DO YOU FACEBOOK?

I DO! I tried Twitter and found the instructions lacking a little. It was hard to figure out. BUT Facebook....easy peasy! So...for all you non-bloggers (Jill) that say that you don't have time for blogging (Jill), go Facebook (Jill)! It is fun, fast and easy to get started! And hello.....43 friends in one day...that was easy! It took me forever to get 24 friends in bloggy land....AND I love each and every one of you!

I do still love blogging. It is a place to share funnies, write memories and stalk strangers that feel like friends! More in-depth than Facebook and I still look forward to posting on my blog. But Facebook....easy, quick one-liners with old friends found.....exciting. So...if you don't have Facebook started yet....go do it (Jill). Just enter your email address and your name (remember to include your maiden name in there too....I didn't and had to add it to my profile, not my screen name...a little of a bummer...but people are still finding me!) After you sign up...enter April Erickson Kennedy in the search and click on "add as friend"! It is that easy....Jill!

I'll be on Facebook all day! Just a little warning...I was told it was a little addicting. But looking for old friends is so fun and so worth the little addiction! Dave did whisper in my ear last night "they have 12 step programs for people like you!" Addiction schmiction.....he was on my facebook more than I was last night...in fact I went to bed before him yelling "START YOUR OWN!"

  1. I will Facebook someday... I'm not sure I want anyone to find me! Just kidding... I have just learned how to keep blogging from taking over my life, I'm not sure I'm strong enough to try Facebook. When I do decide, I know you'll be my first friend!

  2. There is a way to add your maiden name to your screen name...I don't remember exactly how. I did it to mine, because I originally didn't have it in there...keep looking around, they tell you it takes 24 hours to make the change or something but it really doesn't. Facebook is crazy. I had to take a cold turkey break from it for a while LOL!

  3. I've heard all this about facebook and I have a couple of girlfriends who are on there. Funny though, I don't know WHY they're on there if they don't really want to get in contact with old friends?? LOL My little brother is on there, as are my sisters...which makes me feel old if I attempt it. This bloggy world is more my style. I can't become addicted to yet another site.

  6. April darling, I took the advice you gave to Jill and opened a Facebook account! Can you believe it?? One of my old grammar school friends that I've lost touch with e-mailed me yesterday! Oh, I'm so excited :o) Not sure how it all works yet but I'm sure you can advise.

  7. I have to agree it takes a lot of my time. But for me I feel like it is an out! It is so fun to see what people are up to that you haven't talked to in years.

I heart comments! Just one rule that I'm sure your momma taught you...if you don't have anything nice to say...please don't say anything at all!
