DID I EVER MENTION...

that I love this boy because he is tender, talkative, a cuddler and honest. Even when I ask him who is his favorite, he answers, "Daddy" and then quickly looks sorry for what he has just said and then adds, "well you too Mommy".

that I love this girl because she is growing up to be funny, compassionate, nurturing, sensitive, loving, and she even let her little brother help her with her Easy-Bake Oven!

that I love this man because he works so hard for our family, is sensitive and sweet and on Saturday when he was running to the lumber yard, hurried home quickly to send me off to two garage/estate sales he saw that he thought I might like! Did I mention he is thoughtful, very, very thoughtful. While I was out, this man also calmed a very upset nephew, who decided he missed his mom now that auntie was gone, with a hug, a kiss and a promise for a ride in the wheel barrow! Did I mention he is strong...very, very strong!

The wheel barrow ride on Saturday, prompted this writing/drawing to come home from school with Blake on Monday...

look at those muscles! DID I EVER MENTION....THAT I LOVE MY FAMILY, MY STRONG, SENSITIVE, TENDER, FUNNY FAMILY? WELL I DO!

  2. Don't you just love family?? It's what makes me feel accomplished. Forget deadlines and projects, my family is what makes me proud. And yours is adorable. Love that your husband is so thoughtful, does he teach lessons?? I would be willing to fly my hubby out for them... lol.

What a great drawing! That is one muscular stick figure! :)

  3. oh, btw, totally thought the same thing as you on my comment from "queen bee." It was one of those things where I was left thinking, "wait, did I just get insulted??"

  4. This is too cute. I love blake's drawing. I love the easy bake oven...boy times have sure changed the look of the oven! You've got a great family. You need to transfer all that you write to LDSjournal.com. It makes it so easy to journal. I copy and paste what's on my blog, and then I add more detail to stories, and informtaion that I don't want to share on the blog. You can attach pics too. Someday, I will make my ldsjournal enteries into a book, as I will with my blog too.
    cute post!

  9. Either Dave's spending lots of time in the gym or he's on steroids. You might need to sit down and have a serious talk with him, April.

I heart comments! Just one rule that I'm sure your momma taught you...if you don't have anything nice to say...please don't say anything at all!
